KIU hosts a public lecture on self-motivation

The Kutaisi International University has hosted a public lecture on self-motivation. The guest speakers of the events gave various examples of how to stay motivated and excel in multiple fields of life besides academic study.

Kutaisi: The Kutaisi International University has hosted a public lecture on self-motivation. The guest speakers of the events gave various examples of how to stay motivated and excel in multiple fields of life besides academic study.

The University used to host such seminars which promote  the overall personality of the students. The university students also take part in these events every year. It is worth noting that this time under the motivation lecture series, Zura Mkheidze’s public lecture was held at Kutaisi International University (KIU). In his seminar he urged students to take risks in life and overcome challenges with consistent hard work and dedication.

 

At the same time the key speaker of the event motivated the participating students based on a number of practical examples. The invited guest introduced the listeners to the main sources of motivation and demotivation and provided information on the emotional obstacles created on the way to success and ways to solve them.

 

Special focus was also given to exam-related stress among the students. Tips were shared with students that can be implemented to overcome the challenges associated with exam-related stress as well.

It should also be added that after the lecture a discussion was held, during which the participants had the opportunity to receive information on issues of interest to them and share their opinions with each other.

Professor Zura Mkheidze has 30 years of consulting experience with up to 20 public and private companies in management and public relations issues. A well-known psychologist has been conducting lectures and training in management and communication at various universities of Georgia for more than 25 years.

In his address to students he stressed the adoption of healthy eating habits. He said that healthy eating habits are very important for stable mental health. At the last meeting, participating students thanked the key speakers and experts who shared their opinions with them and provided them with many tips to overcome the challenges of mental health as well.
