Kutaisi: The Kutaisi International Airport is all set to get a new parking space. This parking lot has the capacity to accommodate more than seven hundred vehicles, especially car.
It is to be specifically mentioned that under the mission to provide a world-class experience to travellers many efforts are being made by the authorities. The establishment of new parking spaces is a step forward in this direction.
There will be reduced congestion of cars after the parking space is built up. Along with the parking lot many other facilities are also arranged by the management. It includes a pedestrian path, a drainage sewer, a decorative fence etc.
Management and official representatives of the government also stated that many other development projects are in the pipeline for the best services to air passengers.
Meanwhile, United Airports of Georgia also took to their social media page and stated on their Facebook page that
“In Kutaisi International Airport a parking lot for 700 cars was arranged.The new parking lot is expected for 500 additional cars. The new plumbing system is done. In total, 20,000m2 of asphalt was covered, and roadways, pedestrian paths and parking systems were designed and arranged”.
“A new drainage sewer was made and a decorative fence was arranged. By the end of the month the area lighting system will be fully equipped” further added post..
“Several important infrastructure projects are planned at David Aghmashenebeli Airport this year. Among them, the rehabilitation of Bakkani and the aeroplane stand will also start a new 3.5 km. Construction of the runway” post added.
Many social media users also gave their mixed responses. One user, namely Markika Machavariani, commented, “Good luck”. Another user, Irma Niqabadze, stated, “Maybe you can also arrange transport from the city to the airport”.
Similarly, while commenting, Maka Kva Khadze asked in a comment “Very good news, when will the new parking lot open?” In reply to this query, Nanachka Baramidze commented “, It is open. You can park in . he has already put the cars up”.
It is worth mentioning that after some renovation work, the airport wore a wonderful look. The parking place was marked to guide the drivers for proper parking as well.
