Georgia: The local government implements various infrastructural projects every year to improve the existing conditions in the administrative units of Mtskheta municipality. One such unit is Tsilkani, where multiple projects were implemented this year.
The asphalt-concrete pavement work for 7 kilometers connecting the villages of Tsilkani and Tserovni has been completed.
L.L.C. “Qcia” carried out construction works, which the Regional Development Fund and the local budget co-financed. The project cost is up to 2.5 million G.E.L.
The rehabilitation of the gym in village Tsilkani is over. The hall was fully rehabilitated, and the facade and interior were plastered.
During the construction, suitable infrastructure for various sports, locker rooms, and wet spots was set up on site. The hall’s rehabilitation was financed from the local budget, and its contract amount is 169439.13 GEL.
Sports infrastructure throughout the municipality aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among the youth. Construction of a new square and sports field near the kindergarten in the forcibly displaced persons’ settlement has been completed.
The project was financed from the local budget, and contractor companies worked at Mtskheti City Hall.
The mentioned sports and recreation space was planned at the request of the local population. The sports field has been equipped with modern standards and the right equipment for football and basketball lovers. The sports space promotes healthy living and sports among young people.
According to the project, children’s entertainment attractions were organized in the square, where rubber tiles were laid for safety and ceramic tiles on the paths. Reclining chairs, decorative lamps, and urns were installed, and tree plants were planted. The area is painted with metal construction.
Having educational, sports, and entertainment infrastructure in one space will be more important and comfortable for children, youth, and the older generation.
In the village of Tsilkani refugee settlement, a shelter for /older people was opened.
The project, whose grant cost is about 1,020,000.00 US dollars, was funded by the U.S. European Dependence and the U.S. Defense Cooperation Service.
The building counted as 24 beneficiaries has already been equipped with the appropriate inventory by the Mtskheta Municipality Hall. The shelters will have all the conditions for elderly people to feel comfortable and dignified.
Installation works for water wells, pumping stations, reservoirs, and pipelines are underway in the village of Tsilkani in the Mtskheti municipality. The project involves the construction of 4 units of new wells 200 meters deep, sanitation buildings, and a new reservoir for the village of Tsilkani.
The construction of wells in the village of Tsilkani is financed from the local budget, and the contract amount is 1 245 887 GEL. The contractor company is B.M.C. Ltd., Ltd., of Mtskheti City Hall, and the contract value is 227 699 GEL.
Rehabilitation of the internal road is underway in the village of Tsilkani.
Up to half a kilometer of asphalt layer is being laid, as well as the entrance sections of the population’s yards are being constructed.
The project is being implemented by the local budget, and the works are being carried out by Kadaka Ltd. Rehabilitation works will be completed in the near future, and the contract cost is 150 000 GEL.
In the village of Tsilkani, rehabilitation works are underway in three sections.
The Regional Development Fund funds road infrastructure improvement works implemented by “Action” Ltd. The contract amount is 205 536 GEL.
Within the framework of the village program, 150 outdoor lighting systems were installed on the inner streets.
