Georgia: Relevant work is underway in Mtskheti municipality to regulate the country’s water supply infrastructure. In this direction, in the village of Tsilkani, projects worth more than 1 245 800 GEL are being implemented with the financing of the Fund of the projects to be implemented in the regions.
The works include installing wells, reservoirs, and pipelines for water supply. After the project’s completion, the water supply will be improved for 5,065 residents.
The borehole is also being built in the village of Ereda. With the local budget funding, after completing works worth more than 209 600 GEL, 300 residents will benefit from improved water supply.
Also, in villages of Mtskheti municipality, the LLC “United Water Supply Company of Georgia” works for 24-hour water supply at various locations.
Works in the village Mukhran, on which more than 17 million GEL is spent from the state budget, are already ending.
The project includes water supply to nearby villages—Vardisubani, Vaziani, and Little Kandi—and the town of Mukhran. Once the work is complete, local residents will finally have the problem resolved and will have water 24 hours a day.
Up to 11 million GEL from the state budget will be spent on Tskhvarichamia, Tezami, and Kevliani water supply works. The project includes new networks, main wastes, pumping stations, and reservoirs. A countdown is scheduled.
10.5 million GEL will finance the 24-hour water supply project of Tsherovni and Gorovni from the state budget. At this stage, the construction of the moratorium has already been completed, and the construction of water-collecting ponds is underway.
Existing reservoirs will be rehabilitated, four drinking water wells will be made, and a new water supply system will be set up.
In addition, a continuous water supply project for the village of Saguramo and its surrounding villages is underway. To create a safe and comfortable environment for the population, appropriate measures will be implemented step by step at all locations based on existing resources and priorities.
