Mikheil Sarjveladze, the minister of refugees, labour, health and social protection from the Occupied Territories, Mikheil Sarjveladze congratulated the beneficiaries of the Tbilisi elderly boarding house. He extended best wishes for Christmas and new year.
It is worth to mention that the ministry has taken many such initiative in previous years also. The minister got acquainted with the living conditions and needs of the beneficiaries there along with many other things also.
The glimpses of event were also shared on the social media handles of the municipality as well. The social media user also extends their best wishes to employees of the municipality. The Mayor Mikheil Sarjveladze while sharing his views also noted that taking care of the elderly is one of the state’s priorities and work in this direction will continue actively.
He also underlined that, “Our elders deserve special respect for their merits, their lived lives, the immense warmth they give us. I wish all the best, longevity, good health and of course happiness to each of them. I wish our refugee beneficiaries here to host them in Abkhazia soon.”
Along with the minister, in the boarding house of the elderly, his deputy Irine Tsakadze and director of the State Agency for Care and Trafficking Victims Rusudan Kokhodze were present. The mayor in his address also underlined that this is not the first time municipality is taking such initiatives rather in the previous years also such action was taken effectively as well.
On the other hand, the management of the older house said that this noble gesture of management is very helpful. Mores such initiative should be taken in future also for the welfare and overall help of our elder people who are source of inspiration for all of us. The management also thanked the mayor and other administration for such welfare efforts.
