Beka Davituliani, Deputy Minister of Culture Beka Davituliani reached to Imereti during a official visit.
He also visited Akaki Tsereteli State Museum in Sachkhere at Skhvitori, the Akaki Tsereteli Professional State Drama Theater in Chiatura, the Ushangi Chkheidze Professional State Drama Theater in Zestaponi as well as Vani Archaeological Museum-Reserve.
As per the information shared by ministry of culture during his visit Beka Davituliani toured the Akaki Tsereteli State Museum and met the management and employees.
The minister during his visit promised the Ministry’s support in resolving existing problems for all organisations working for promotion of rich heritage and cultural values of Georgia.
The Deputy Minister along with other officials of ministry got acquainted with the rehabilitation process of the Akaki Tsereteli Professional State Drama theatre in Chiatura.
As the theatre director and artistic director noted, the theatre’s rehabilitation is proceeding according to plan. The cost of the works is 13,500,000 GEL.
The project work will include the complete rehabilitation of the building and will be completed by the end of the current year. It is also to be noted that during official visit minister Beka Davituliani got acquainted with the existing infrastructural problems in the Ushangi Chkheidze Professional State Drama Theatre of Zestaponi.
It was also highlighted that the theatre building was in serious condition required immediate repairs. Minister apprised the people that the rehabilitation of the theatre will begin this year. Beka Davituliani thanked the theatre team for the enthusiasm they show in their work and expressed readiness for future cooperation.
The Deputy Minister of Culture visited on the other hand also visited Galaktioni and Titian Tabidze house-museums in Vani. He got acquainted with the infrastructural challenges and problems. Beka Davituliani promised the management and employees of the house-museum to resolve the existing problems.
Beka Davituliani also held an introductory meeting with the management and employees of the Vani Archaeological Museum-Reserve. The Deputy Minister toured the museum-reserve. He appreciates the management for their dedication towards their work to preserve rich cultural values of Georgia.
