The employees of the Mtskheta Municipality City Hall’s launched a cleaning drive. They cover city and its surrounding area under this drive to make area clean and clear.
While sharing the glimpses of the drive the social media handles the city hall employees added that, “The Improvement Service are constantly cleaning both the city and the entire municipality. Moreover, such drives will continue future also.”
It is worth to note that despite the fact that dumping construction and household waste near garbage bins or other places is punishable by law and fines are doubled for repeated violations there are many such cases of garbage dumping near bins.
At this stage, cleaning works were held in the areas surrounding Mtskheta-Zahesi and the village of Tsitsamuri, with the involvement of the Roads Department of Georgia. It is also to be noted that the mentioned areas were cleaned of household and construction waste and cleaning works are also actively underway in Mukhrani, Galavani and other administrative units of the municipality.
The Mtskheta Municipality City Hall calls on you to protect cleanliness and together take care of maintaining a clean environment in city and municipality. The garbage was collected and thrown at proper location. Many garbage collection truck was engaged by the municipality to take away the waste.
As per the municipality representative, we have made multiple requests to people for keeping area neat and clean. However, some people seem to still very ignorant of hygiene and cleanliness, which can results in spread of commonable and viral diseases.
At the same they said that we will enhance fines amount if people remain ignorant to maintain cleanliness. Moreover, other punitive measures will also be initiated if proper care is not taken by people of their surrounding area.
At the end of drive city hall employees thanked each person for caring for the environment. They urged the other resident of municipality for participating in in these cleanliness drives.
