The construction work on many development projects in Mtskheta have begun and expected to be completed very soon. The projects are being raised under the Georgian Cities and Resorts Development Program.
Under the planed work, parking lot and square are being constructed on the roadside space. These two projects are being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund.
Similarly, the area is planned to be paved with paving stones, a reinforced concrete railing structure will be installed. Moreover a green lawn will be arranged in the road separating the area from the road. The space will be filled with benches, decorative outdoor lighting and flowering plants.
After the project is completed, the city of Mtskheta will have another beautiful tourist space. The Mtskheta municipality while taking to official Facebook page published glimpses of planed projects. The official Facebook page also have the site plan reflecting beauty of proposed development works.
As site plan of development works show that on completion the project will add extra edge to beauty of city. The spacious parking will solve long pending demand of parking. It is worth to note that heavy machinery has been engaged to execute complete work as soon as possible. This includes the earth moving machines as well excavator.
The excavators are busy to replaces the old material from alongside the road where new material will be placed as well. It is also to be noted that besides the parking area many other work under construction were being demanded by people of city. Moreover, people said these developments works will make city an attractive place for tourists.
In the past many efforts were taken by authorities but issues of traffic were still not solved. However, authorities as well as common people are expecting positive outcome this time.
On the other hand many social media users while commenting on social media post lauded the decision of municipality to execute such products. One Facebook user Maia Lomouri commented, “What beauty is being done, thanks to the city hall for reviving this place so beautifully.”
