The national tourism administration is all set to raise awareness in India for Georgian tourism. The national tourism administration has signed a memorandum of understanding with one of largest travel agency “Thomas Cook” to made campaign organised and successful in India.
While taking to social media handles the representatives of agency also shared glimpses of signing ceremony. The agency expected positive response from Indian travellers in this direction as well.
The official Facebook page of agency stated, “National Tourism Administration launches large-scale marketing campaign in India. The head of the national tourism administration Maia Omi adze signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of India’s largest travel companies Thomas Cook.”
It further added that, the main goal of the memorandum is to raise awareness of Georgia in the Indian tourism market, organize a tourist-attractive media campaign about Georgia. At the same time this is aimed to arrange an introductory tours in India and promote Georgian business tourism in India.
Moreover this will help Georgian tourism administration to create unique and Indian market-tailored tourism products, conduct joint marketing campaigns about Georgia tourism in India, and launch long-term strategic cooperation to increase Georgia’s tourism awareness.
Meanwhile Maia Omiadze, the Head of the National Tourism Administration, while commenting about the development stated that, Although we have been working for a long time in Indian marker but this memorandum of understanding will lead our tourism campaign in Indian to new heights.
Omiadze while sharing further details added, this MoU will help us to launch joint marketing campaign. We will participate in various regional event in Asia to tap potential of Indian tourism market as well.
The tourism administration is all set to participate in OTM 2025. The OTM 2025 is the three day long Travel Trade Show in Asia. The agency will participate there along with coordination of 45 private companies.
It is worth to note that the official of Thomas Cook on the other hand have expressed happiness over this MoU. They said that this is great opportunity to promote Georgian products in Indian market especially Georgian wine.
ajeev Kale, the President for Leisure and Travel at Thomas Cook, noted that the awareness campaign will boost tourists flow to Georgia from India.
