The state department of united states of America have once again said that the further appropriate action against Georgia will be taken as per the rules. The comments came in the wake of downward relation between Georgia and United States of America.
The spokesperson of the US state department Mathew Miler revealed this plan during a daily press brief. He specifically mentioned that the relation between both countries have been went to downward direction after adoption of foreign agents’ law by the republic of Georgia government.
It is worth to mention that when controversial law was adopted in Georgia since then the Government of United States of America have made it clear that the USA government will review its relationship with Georgia. USA also expressed its deep concern about the strict police action against the protestors as well.
In his press release spokesperson of US state department Miller added that, the process of complete overhaul of bilateral relation in going on whoever in future is circumstances changes the decision of USA government may also change towards Georgia.
According to him USA have already suspended the assistance to Georgia as a result of review of bilateral relations. However it does not mean we cannot take any other action. We will take Furter action as well.
he series of action against the Georgia government from USA includes the visa restriction against the official of ruling party of Georgia “Georgian Dream”. In addition, treasury department of USA have imposed sanction against the two four Indi duals of the Georgia. This list of four name includes the two senior officials of the Georgian Dream as well.
On the other hand United states of America have already prepared a plan against the honorary chairmen of Georgian Dream namely Bidzina Ivanishvili. There were two bills that were introduced in united states of America. The name of first bill is Georgian People’s act. Another bill name is MEGOBARI Act.
These both bills have been introduced in House of Representatives, propose sanctions against Georgian officials who are responsible for violation of the human rights.
