Tbilisi: As per the information provided by Emergency Management Service, Staff members saved the precious life of persons. These person were stuck in the heavy snow. Georgians appreciate the effort of the Emergency Management service.
Firefighters, mobilising all the necessary special equipment, were able to free the cars stuck in the snow from the snow cover and bring citizens safely to a place.
As soon as the emergency department received the information, they immediately rushed to the spot.They visit the spot along with all equipment. A heavy loader as well as snowcutter was also brought to Spot.
The visibility was very low due to snowfall and dense fog in the area.It was very difficult for the drivers to move the vehicle on Road as the road became slippery and there was a high possibility of road Accidents
There was snow all around the stuck vehicle. The employee of the emergency department first removes the snow from the vehicle’s body.The loader machine was present on the spot which then removes the Snow and make way for the vehicle to proceed further.
As snow was removed aside then staff saved the stuck people and then successfully rescused them with their skill and experience.
Meanwhile Emergency Mangement service took to their social media page and while explaing this incident stated that “Firefighters of Emergency Management Service Department saved citizens stuck in snowfall on the Goderdze Pass. Due to heavy rainfall, three vehicles could not move on the road, carrying eight people. Firefighters immediately, while mobilising all the necessary special equipment, were able to free the cars stuck in the snow from the snow cover and bring citizens safely to a place”.
Social media users flooded social media with posts of appreciation for team of firefighters. One user, Nano Vasadze, commented, “You are real heroes. May god Protect you all”. Similarly other users like Zviadi Cucquiridze, Kaxa Tchitadze, and Bachukii Kverexadze also commented and appreciated the effort of the department.
The officials of the weather department and emergency department advised people to use proper care while driving. At the same time, they also advised people to avoid travelling on snow-covered roads. People should keep an eye on the weather reports released by a weather department frequently advised department.
