The emergency management services of the Georgi organised a training session for its employees. Almost 600 employees of the emergency management services got training under this program.
The basic course of the shift commander at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Management Service Training Center has been completed recently. Within the framework of this training, about 600 employees of the Emergency Management Service were trained on various aspects of rescue operations.
Employee, on the occasion, learned new methods of first aid, chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear incident responses, firefighting and rescue operations in a close-to-reality environment. In practical and theoretical exercises, special techniques and equipment were used.
The aim of the training was to enhance the knowledge of tactical-level command and learn new methods of firefighting and emergency rescue operations.
As per the information the emergency department frequently organises many such programs for its employees to keep them well-trained on the latest techniques of rescue operations that can be utilised for preventing the loss of man and property.
All the trainees on the occasion were well dressed for the training session. They learn all the new methods with enthusiasm.
it is to be noted that chemical emergencies are very dangerous. Chemical emergencies can erupt due to spillage of chemicals in industry or as the result of fire or explosion. It can also happen if there is an accident involving a chemical-carrying vehicle.
In these types of chemical emergencies the first thing that every employee of the service must know is the prevention of the loss of human life. After that the rescue workers must take steps to stop further spillage of the chemical or its other dangerous components.
Similarly there could be situations like biological emergencies. It occurs when there is the release of harmful biological agents like viruses, bacteria, and fungi, which have the potential to cause significant damage to human health or to the surrounding environment.
The trainer also explains to the trainee how coordination and cooperation with other agencies is very important in such kind of situation.
It is worth noting that awareness among the general public is also very important. The people can play a significant role by helping the agencies in case of emergencies. There was a parade march attended by all the trainees.
The participants of the course were awarded the respective certificates by the Deputy Head of the Emergency Management Service, Zurab Pavliashvili.
