Kedi: Concert held at culture centre on eve on new year

To celebrate Christmas and welcome the new year a musical concert was held at the Kedi Cultural Centre in the area of Kedi municipality of Georgia. A large number of children participated in this event.

To celebrate Christmas and welcome the new year, a musical concert was held at the Kedi Cultural Centre in the area of Kedi municipality of Georgia. A large number of children participated in this event.

On this occasion the Deputy Mayor of the municipality Mamuka Partenadze was also present. He congratulated the viewers and the little ones on Christmas and New Year. He also distributed the sweets and honoured the children with prizes and gifts as well.

During his address the deputy mayor encouraged and motivated the children to dream big in life and achieve success in academic as well as professional life.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the concert was attended by children from the department of the artistic Reading Circle of Pupil Youth, public school students, as well as those children who belong to the children’s ensemble “Abadelia”. At the same time many individual performers also participated and displayed their talent before the attendees.

The little children were dressed very nicely in colourful dresses. They mesmerize everyone with their performances.

It was delighting to see the children playing the role and performing acting and dancing to music. Some children wore clothes similar to Santa Claus and also acted like him.

The stage was beautifully decorated with lights, flowers, and other decorative materials. The Christmas trees were also placed on the sides of the stage.

It is worth mentioning that parents of many children also attended the concert and felt proud to see the performance of their little stars.

The hall was shining with the flashlight of mobile cameras as attendee of the event were capturing the moments on their mobile phones.

Kedi municipality also took to social media and shared information regarding the organisation of this event. Social media user lauds the performance of children, they also appreciate the organisers for providing the children with a unique opportunity to show their hidden talent.

One user commented that “god bless little babies, have a happy new year” Similarly, another user commented that “Wonderful performance, wish you all the best”

It is to be noted that at the end of the concert, the children participating in the event were given New Year sweets . As per the information available as part of the New Year’s Events Week events will be held in all administrative units as these will end with a closing concert on January 12.
