As per the latest information made available by the municipality, these new comfortable euro 5 standard buses in Racha-lechkhumi and lower Svaneti will be divided equally into ambrolauri, ons, stager and cleantech, which in the near future will run into three routes, in the city, between villages and municipal centres.

It is worth mentioning that by purchasing buses, the population living in the region will have fewer problems related to internal transport that have existed for years.

Buses equipped with modern standards have a passenger capacity of 47 passengers and are adapted for people with disabilities as well. Notably, new buses will be served free of charge to local people to attend New Year events organised by the government administration.

All the buses are made by Isuzu company and come with many latest technologies and features. The representative of the municipality also inspected the buses from the inside and also came to know about the latest features.

Buses are very spacious and will provide a world-class travelling experience to people. The people of these rural areas have been demanding new buses for a long time. Now with the purchase of these buses the long pending demand of people has been met.

It is also to be noted that all the buses are adaptable to people with disabilities. The steps of the buses are very low so that people with disability can access them with ease. Ambrolauri municipality also took to their social media page and shared the information and the purchase of new buses.

Meanwhile, social media users gave mixed responses to the decision of the government. One user, Buba Bakuradaze, commented, “Clear the roads; otherwise, these buses will not last long; how many decades have you not laid a road in the village of Mokhiari? I remember five buses were going from Ambrolauri every day, and the village was full; if you take gas out, people will return to the village slowly, creating elementary conditions for people to live in the countryside.”

Another user sxvava sxvava commented that “Good luck to the people of the district and happy new year.
