Borjomi municipality shares schedule for New Year events

The administration of the Borjomi Municipality disclosed the schedule for the events that will be organised on January 4 ,2024, to welcome the new year.

Almost all the municipalities of Georgia are welcoming the new year according to their own style. Similarly, the administration of the Borjomi Municipality disclosed the schedule for the events that will be organised on January 4 ,2024, to welcome the new year.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the local Borjomi administration has been planning the preparation for this event for a long time. As per the representative of the municipality, the arrangements have been completed for the successful organisation of the event.

The following is the schedule for the new year programme:

On January 4, in Borjomi, a New Year event will be held in Merab Kostava Square

The event organized by the government administration will start at 14:00

14:00 – Orchestra and costume heroes march;

14:00 – 19:00 – Christmas market: exhibition-sale of local products, handmade items. mulled wine, cinnamon cookies, hot chocolate;

14:00 – 18:00 – Children’s Space, New Year’s Toys Workshop;

14:00-16:00 – Animators’ children’s program;

16:00-17:30 – Orchestra and fairy tale heroes festive march, children meeting Santa Claus;

17:00-20:00 – They will decorate the evening musically:

Nini Karseladze, group street boys, group Rezo and children, announcer Ruska Makashvili

20:00 – Ceremonial fireworks

It is worth mentioning that the people of the locality wait for this celebration every year because this moment gives them an opportunity to share their happiness with each other. 

The event site is beautifully decorated with lights, flowers, and Christmas trees. the stage also has musical instruments and drums to make the environment more melodious.

These celebrations give the children an opportunity to have fun and play fun activities with each other. Children also waited for that occasion because they would have a chance to enjoy the sweets and another eatable of their choice. They also waited for Santa Claus to get the gifts and sweets from him.

Many local residents while sharing their happiness said they were waiting for these events for a long time and are ready to enjoy the events.
