Borjomi Municipality: chariman visit day centre “Tabe”

Borjomi: David Zaalishvili, Chairman of the Borjomi Municipality Council, along with Mayor Otar Arbolishvili, Chairman of “Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia” faction Levan Tediashvili and Chairman of Legal Affairs Commission Maka Manjavidze, visited Day Center “Tebe” beneficiaries and congratulated New Year personally. They also handed over the gifts to the children who were present there.

It is to be specifically mentioned that In Borjomi municipality, the day centre, namely “Tebe”, has been functioning since 2018 and currently serves up to 40 beneficiaries.

Day Center beneficiaries had also got an opportunity to engage in a variety of activities aimed at developing and improving both academic, functional and daily life skills.It is worth mentioning that each beneficiary is guided by an individual plan, which is written over a period of 6 months.

In the day centre, there were many learning activities, like creating circles about enamel, wooden items, and souvenirs/accessories, in which adult beneficiaries of “Tebe” are actively involved.

On this occasion, a significant number of beneficiaries were present who were dressed in beautiful dresses. The venue of the programme was also very colourfully decorated by the organisers of the event.

At the beginning, the organiser welcomes the visiting member delegation. They also thanked the visiting delegation for their esteem presence and visit to the day centre to share the moments with the beneficiaries of the day centre.

On the other hand, the mayor and other members of the visiting delegation said that this is a very historic occasion to spend quality time with the beneficiaries of the day centre.The children of the day centre were very happy to receive the gifts from the visiting mayor, chairman and another representative of municipalities.

The visiting delegation also promises to deliver the maximum possible assistance to the day centre so that more initiative for the welfare of the beneficiaries can be ensured.It is to be be noted that Day centre “Tebe” working hours are Monday-Friday, 11:00-17:00 hours.
