Samtredia Municipality: Meeting held with representatives of construction companies

Davit Bakhtadze, the Mayor of the Samtredia Municipality, held a meeting with the representatives of different construction companies. The meeting was held with an aim to discuss the progress of ongoing projects and planned projects that will be implemented in future.

The municipality’s mayor was accompanied by many other representatives, including the Chairman of the City Council, Nugzar Jamburia, and the First Deputy, Vladimir Zakradze.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the meeting discussed in detail all the projects that will be implemented this year across Samtredia Municipality. They also discussed the provisions for the financial aid required to implement the projects.

It is to be noted that based on the population’s demand, the arrangement of road infrastructure still takes at first place in the municipality’s list of priority issues. However, in 2024, the “Future Park” will be completely renovated, new attractions will be placed, and infrastructure will be arranged for the benefit of people.

As per the more details it is also planned to arrange the facades of multi-storey buildings in the municipality, the amenities of the city centre, and the surrounding areas as well.

During the discussion it also came to light that this year a road leading to the Offeti administrative unit of one of the highland zones will be built with concrete pavement to provide smooth connectivity to all the localities.This dedicated road infrastructure will also be fixed in several directions of the Gakhma zone as infoemred by the representative of the municipality during the meeting.

Speaking further on the occasion, David Bakhtadze added, “With meetings like this, we reaffirm the close cooperation between construction organisations and local governments.” This will ensure the quality of work at the highest level.
He also said that we would make every effort to complete the work as soon as possible so that people would not experience any unwanted inconvenience.

The Municipality also took to its social media, where users commented and appreciated the municipality’s decision to ensure the early completion of the construction work.

One user commented, “Good luck to you. Maybe Robakidze street asphalt pavement will be rehabilitated. It is very accidental. It will be impossible to move after winter.”
