An important of presentation meeting about the Health, Social, Child Rights Protection and Support Program for the 2024 Budget was held recently.
It was s attended by the Mayor of the municipality David Kargareteli, Deputy Ramaz Budaghashvili, Levan Khmaladze, Fuad Mirzoev, Deputy Chairman of the City Council Samir Khialov, Vugar Mamedov and other representatives of the local government representative also.
During his address Mayor David Kargareteli said “The majority of the budget of the municipality of Gardabani is directed to meet the social needs of our population. We are implementing twenty-four municipal programs that provide medical services and financial assistance to disabled people registered in Gardabani, socially vulnerable, large families, newborns, homeless, and other beneficiaries with special needs“.
In addition changes have been made to some programs to make it available for a maximum number of people as well. The beneficiaries include first-time graduate graduates and students with disabilities. Also, children with diabetes and phenylketonuria will benefit from the material assistance program being implemented by the administration of the municipality.
The presentation of the health, social, child rights protection, and support program intended for the 2024 budget was held in the meeting hall of the Gardabani municipality.
The mayor speaking on the occasion added that the local administration of the municipality along with the assistance of the central government is very much committed to providing the world clas facilities to its citizens.
He also said that several programs and policies have been implemented by the municipality in the past year for the welfare of disabled people. Moreover the municipality has also come up with many new plans to make the condition of these people more improved as well.
On the other hand it was also decided during the meeting that there is a need to arrange more financial resources so that the programs can be implemented without any further delay in the future.
