Giorgi Amilakhvari the Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth congratulated the citizens on Women’s Day. He also motivated them to work hard and achieve success at national, regional and international levels as well.
While congratulating the women Minister took to his social media handles. He wrote in a social media post (Facebook)that “Congratulations to all women, especially yes – women in the education sector on March 8”.
He also added that “I would like to address to all the women who make the nation proud and serve as teachers in the educational field. I also would like to congratulate you on this special day which is also celebrated around the globe as well. You are serving the most important section of society and doing a great worldly job – raising the future generations (the children) and I personally within my capacity will do my best to create decent working conditions for you (all teachers at all the level) I will also try to facilitate your professional advancement and to implement your initiatives”.
Speaking specifically the minister added that “Fortunately our country has historically had many strong female leaders who contributed tremendously to developing our communities and society and are still doing their best for the welfare of the country”.
According to the minister in the fields of education, science, and technology areas as well as women’s participation in public and political life is very significant and crucial. Therefore one of our primary goals is to create a wider scope for women to express their potential freely which will further contribute to self-realization, career advancement, and empowerment of women in the development of the country.
In the last he said that “Once again I congratulate you on International Women’s Day. I wish you happiness and success from the bottom of my heart for the good of our country and society”.
