It is to be specifically mentioned that in his speech Vakhtang Gomelaur highlighted steps to fight crime .He also stressed the need of improving international police cooperation for fighting the transnational crimes.
Minister also took up the issues of the various social guarantees for the ministry’s staff, among other important issues as well. The Minister of Internal Affairs answered the questions asked by the deputies. Vakhtang Gomelauri thanked the members of Parliament for their support and cooperation.
As mentioned above the transnational crimes are very difficult to detect due to lack of mutual coordination in nTIO. According to minister this is very crucial time as the world has become a global village. Transnational crime can only be prevented with the international cooperation.
The international agency’s like INTERPOL should strengthen against the multinational crime. Minister apprised the attendee how the law enforcement agency’s are working with the mutual coordination.
At the same time in his concluding speech the Minister Vakhtang Gomelaur thanked the Speaker of Parliament, MPs and all employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs again.
Vakhtang Gomelauri stated specifically that “I want to say thank you very much to Mr. Chairman, honorable MPs, as well as the leaders of the opposition parties also. It was a really nice meeting and I want to say thank you all from the core of my heart. Once again I want to say thank you to all the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all police officers, their families, I know what it’s like to have a police officer as a family member. I would like to say thank you very much”.
