Tbilisi: Seminar on traffic held in Kindergarten by patrol police

The employees of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia held a seminar on Kindergarten 151 in Tbilisi, the capital. This was part of a series of informative meetings being organized to spread awareness.

During the session the employees of the patrol police introduced the children to the traffic safety rules in detail. They provided them with the necessary information for safe movement on the roads.

A significant number of schoolchildren were present on this occasion to learn about the traffic rules. They were excited to interact with the police employees. It is also to be added that the official asked some basic questions about the traffic rules, which were answered by the children as well.

It is to be added that with the increase of vehicular traffic movement in the cities, the rate of accidents has also increased accidentally.

As per the information of the traffic department, due to driver’s negligence, every year a huge number of people lose their lives in road accidents. In most cases, the violators are totally unaware of the traffic rules, which also causes massive damage to life and property.

The school management and teachers who were present on the occasion greeted the police department representative for gracing the occasion with their esteemed presence.

 

They also extended their gratitude to the patrol police department for this informational meeting.At the same time, children gave symbolic gifts to the patrol inspectors as a token of respect.

Notably, the  Patrol Police Department constantly takes care of raising the awareness of children and adolescents about road safety. The department has launched many traffic awareness campaigns in the past to mitigate the damages as a result of the accident cases as well.
