The administration of Ozurgeti City Hall organized a successful event to honor the successful graduates who passed recent national unified exam. Many dignitaries, including Mayor Avtandil Talakvadze attended event and extended best wishes.
It should be added that this awarding ceremony for successful graduates was held in Tsvermaghala Park which is situated in the Ozurgeti Municipality. The successful students were also provided with financial help under the municipal student incentive program.
On this occasion almost 102 gold medalists who secured 100% grants in national exams and public schools were rewarded. The event was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality, Avtandil Talakvadze. Others who were present included the Guria Majority Deputy Vasil Chigogidze, Chairman of the Sakrebulo Davit Darchi, Deputy State Trustee Kevan Moyushvili and the head of the resource center.
The Mayor of the Municipality also addressed the event attendees and extended his best wishes for their bright future. During his address the mayor stated “This is a day full of emotions and a positive meeting with young people in Tsvermagala Park. Through the Municipal Student Incentive Program, we awarded 102 gold medalists, 100% grant holder youth and public schools students bases on their results.”
The Mayor also expressed his admiration for the students saying “We are blessed with an exceptionally talented and hopeful young generation in Ozurgeti. The future of our country is in their hands and I am confident that they will lead us to greater heights. I once again congratulate our graduates on this significant milestone and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
Notably at this event the successful young people were awarded according to fixed condtions. A graduate student who obtained 100% grant funding for the unified national exams received 500 GEL as a one-time award.
Similarly a 70% grant owner received 400 GEL and the rest of the students received 300 GEL. The amoout for school students who received as per their academic achievement 3000 GEL for winnder of 100 per cent grant.
