Ozurgeti, Georgia: The Mayor of Ozurgeti Municipality City Hall, Avtandil Talakvadze, visited and inspected the ongoing rehabilitation works of the kindergartens on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
The Mayor shared the glimpses of the site of construction on its official Facebook page on July 26, 2025. The Mayor also shared a small note about his visit, along with glimpses of the rehabilitation works.
Along with the Mayor of Ozurgeti, the Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, and State Trustee Giorgi Gurjumelidze in Guria also visited the site of construction.
It is noteworthy that Kindergarten No. 3 in Ozurgeti has 200 children, and according to the project, the building will be fully rehabilitated.
The kindergarten will have modern study, lounge, administrative rooms, kitchen, and a diverse playground adapted to the needs of preschoolers. Security, heating, electricity, and sewerage systems will be arranged as well. The state will finance the rehabilitation of the garden with 3.7 million GEL.
In the village of Konchkati, a kindergarten of modern standards is being built, which will be fully adapted for children with special needs.
There will be a playroom, bedroom, study rooms, kitchen, washrooms, sports court, and recreation areas. The project also includes the provision of security systems for the building. The project will be implemented with the financing of the Georgian government, and the cost will be 2 million GEL.
The Georgian government will finance the rehabilitation work of 150 children in the village of Natani with 6.5 million GEL.
The renovated nursery will have adapted indoor and outdoor spaces by modern standards; study and lounge rooms, play and recreation areas, a courtyard, and playgrounds to create a comfortable environment for children. The project considers creating conditions necessary for children’s education, socialization, and safety.
