In the Racha-Lechkhum Lower Svaneti region, State Commissioner Papuna Margvelidze held a meeting with the heads of regional services of various state agencies.
The Ambrolauri Municipality of Georgia shared the glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook Page on March 30, 2026, Monday. The Municipality also shared a small note about the meeting along with its glimpses.
Each participant of the meeting paid attention to the current situation and current issues in their business direction. The State Trustee noted that close cooperation between local governments and state agencies was of utmost importance, emphasizing the need for a cohesive working format and a rapid response to population needs.
During the meeting, the State Trustee heard a report on the performance of the issues passed at the last meeting, drawing out the action plan for this week.
Papuna Margvelidze introduced his employees to new positions: Vakhtang Ghachava-Racha-Lechkhum Forest Service of Lower Svaneti Region, Madona Machankaladze – Head of Emergency Situations Coordination and Emergency Help Center Ambrolauri Branch, Nato Dvali – Director of Ambrolauri Unified Public Health Center, and wished them success in their future work.
They discussed the ongoing infrastructure projects scheduled for implementation in 2026, and the conversation touched on key processes in the fields of education, healthcare, tourism, and agriculture.
At the meeting, at the initiative of the State Governor, with the active involvement of the public sector, large-scale actions were planned in all four municipalities of the region to clean cemeteries and their surrounding areas in connection with the Easter holiday.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of State, Christina Kobakhidze, and Aluda Tutisani, Head of the Administration Office, Marika Dvali, Head of Regional Projects and Coordination Service, and Levan Tsvidiani, Head of Relations Service with Local Self-Government Authorities.
