Shalva Papuashvili, the speaker of the parliament of Georgia today slammed the people who are behind the current violence. He said some person for their personal interest do not want peace in country which is very terrible reality.
He In his statement claimed that there are some unspecified persons who are creating disturbance. Moreover, they don’t want peace, so government will deal with them as per law to bring peace in country as well.
He said all person who are protesting and damaging the public property and attacking police officers are enemy of Georgia. He was commenting about ongoing protest in Georgia. The protests erupted after decision of Georgian Dream led Georgia’s government to suspend talks for Georgia’s integration into European Union.
In addition, he said much time passed since protests begun in all over country, Government is dealing with all of them as per law. The moves of government are as per the law so that no  damage to fundamental rights of citizens is caused.
He said also that we are all set to talk about the current situation with protestors, but they are instead attacking the police force members. He said all allegation of election manipulation are false and vague. Moreover, ruling party is committed toward its agenda of European Integration also.
He said nothing illegal has happened in October election. All the action of the Government are under the constitution. He said the visit of delegates of European Country in this critical time is very sad. This visit will fuel going fire and protests in country.
As per speaker the delegating visit should not happen at this time. He levelled allegation that in previous time also they visited Tbilisi when people were opposing the foreign agent’s law and did not serve any purpose instead worsen the situation.
He called all opposition parties of country as well as the regional and international organizations to accept decision of Georgian citizens. He said that election process was peaceful and transparent as well.
