Georgia’s foreign policy also aims to establish a stable and strong relationship with all foreign countries especially the European and Western countries.
The strategic partnership between the Republic of Georgia and the United Kingdom of England existed since the partnership and cooperation agreement. In 2014 the governments of both countries established a strategic dialogue with the world. Under this particular dialogue a series of meetings were held to boost relations in defense, security, economy, and trade.
As both countries are members of the Council of Europe, and natural allies in the diplomatic world. The newly elected Prime Minister of the UK belongs to the Labour Party and he replaced the Rishi Sunak of the conservative party.
The former prime minister accepted his defeat and said that the people’s decision was supreme and we were bound to respect the public will. The former Prime Minister congratulated Keir Starmer and said that I hoped he would develop the country with his visionary guidance. The Georgian Prime Minister also hoped that Keir Starmer would support the Georgian integration into the Europan Union.
