Protesters held rally in Tbilisi against Govt. decision on EU integration delay

The protester from all over Georgia have been protesting  against the government to delay process of integration into the European Union.

Tbilisi: The protester from all over Georgia have been protesting  against the government. They are opposing decision of Georgian government to delay process of integration into the European Union.

It is worth to note that Georgia was granted the status of candidate country by European Council. The granting of this status was seen as step forward to Georgia’s integration into European Union.

However nowadays Government of Georgia suspended the process of Georgia’s integration into European Union.  The decision of Government is being condemned by all opposition parties along with common citizens.

 

It is to be noted that the Government of Republic of Georgia have decided to suspend further efforts in direction of European Integration. The protesters gathered outside parliament building to stage protest rally to demand repeal of government order as well.

The ministry of internal affairs on other hand stated the representatives of different law enforcement agencies have been dispatched towards different direction of country. This decision was taken by Ministry to maintain law and order situation. Moreover, it will also prevent any incident of violence as well.

In a surprising turn of events many students also joined protest. Most of school students belongs to cities of Poti, Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri in western Georgia . The ministry of internal affairs has already warned the protesters to follow the legal rules and regulation as well.

There were many reports surfaced in media houses where it was noticed protesters are damaging public property while attending the protests against the government which is totally illegal and unethical as well.

The internal affair ministry further underlined that although Georgian law recognise right to protest however it never gives any right to protesters to damage public property in any way. The internal affairs ministry repeatedly issuing warning to protesters that if do not stop violation the decision will be taken as per law.

While taking to media personal the protesters said that they will not bow before pressure of government and will continue to their fight for Georgia bright future.
