Russia-Ukraine War: The Russian forces have been conducting massive air raids in major areas of Ukraine, namely Odesa Oblast, Kyiv, Lviv and other cities. The energy facilities and key infrastructure have been the consistent target of Russian missiles. Citizens have been left behind without power and heat. The plight has been worsened by the inability to move as aerial strikes persist in cities, as well as a lack of access to the internet.
As per the reports, more than 50 missiles were launched over the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, from the Caspian Sea.
It’s already been freezing cold in Kyiv, and the lack of heat is making things worse in the city. The sirens have been wailing since morning, and citizens have been advised to stay indoors under the shelters.
Around four citizens have been reported to have lost life in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and one citizen in Kharkiv, while 14 were left seriously injured in the Dnipro region. The governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Valentyn Reznichenko, noted missile attack has inflicted considerable damage to the industrial outlet as well as residences in the region.
On Wednesday, Russian strikes had killed a lady in her own flat in the centre of Kyiv city.
Earlier today, the Ukrainian air defence system intercepted a Russian cruise missile heading towards the residential area in the capital city, Kyiv. Kremlin has been facing global outrage already for the missile attack incident in eastern Poland. Despite refuting all such accusations, Russia is being blamed for the incident.
