Moscow: The chairman of Lukoi, the Russian oil giant Mr Ravil Maganov has died under mysterious circumstances. The reports state the ‘fall from a window’ to be the reason of his death. Meanwhile, the oil company has claimed that the chairman had succumbed to a prolonged serious illness.Â
The Russian Media stated that he was being treated at Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital and died of his injuries.
A lot of high-profile business executives have died in mysterious conditions in Russia. Maganov has become the latest entrant into this list.Â
 The investigating authorities stated that they have been working at the scene, trying to establish the events that followed in Maganov’s mysterious demise. As the sources report, the businessman had fallen out of the window from the sixth floor.
At the same time, it is speculated that Maganov had claimed his own life by jumping out of the window.
Lukoil had called for the conflict between Ukraine and Russia to be ended at the earliest. The company expressed his deep sympathies for the victims that had fallen in the conflict and sought the earliest end to the war. Its President, Vagit Alekperov, resigned in April after UK imposed sanctions on him over the invasion of Ukraine.Â
