Nino Latsabidze, the Mayor of Rustavi handed over the new equipment to the Municipality’s employees. On this occasion she also interacted with employees and encouraged them to work hard for a clean and safe city.
While taking to her social media handles, the Mayor shared glimpses of the handing-over ceremony. The new equipment has been purchased by the Municipality administration with the help of the central government.
Mayor Nino Latsabidze expressed her gratitude to the central government for assistance. She hopes that the new machinery will help to ensure that the city is cleaner and more orderly.
Notably, in order to improve the cleaning and maintenance of the city, Rustavi City Hall purchased three new garbage trucks, ten units of road cleaning equipment, hand sweeping machines, four road sweepers, two street washing machines, cranes and excavator-loaders. Total twenty-one equipment have been purchased by Municipality administration.
The Mayor shared information that the administration is always keen for overall development of the city. So many new projects have been executed along with the creation of a technopark at the Rustai center of the city.
Mayor was accompanied by many other representatives of the Municipality. Some of them include Kvemo Kartli State Trustee Giorgi Dokhturishvili, Rustavi Majority Deputy in the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Shatakishvili, Parliamentarian Aleksandre Dalakishvili and the local leaders of “Georgian Dream” party.
The Mayor further stated “Providing the Rustavi Center modern standard equipment is one of the important components of the ongoing municipal services reform in the Rustavi City Hall. The purchase of new sweeping machines was necessitated by the construction of new roads.”
On the other hand appropriate irrigation equipment has been purchased for the maintenance of new squares and recreational spaces. The cleaning services at technology Park have also been upgraded. A new excavator and crane have been purchased to perform various types of work.
