Sagarejo municipality’s scholarship schemes continues

On the initiative of Sagarejo Municipality Mayor, Avtandil Gulikashvili, Alexander Tsqedadze cash award scholarship distribution continues for students registered in Sagarejo Municipality. The application process will start from February 24, 2025 within one month based on the results of the first semester of 2024-2025.

As per information education, culture, monument Protection, sport and youth affairs Service’s sub-curriculum budget for 2025 includes promoting and encouraging students. The sub-programme is meant to encourage students with high academic performance with cash awards, motivate students, promote education and support organization groups.

According to this rule, cash awards will be given to students who are attending higher education and meet the following criteria:

1. a) is a citizen of Georgia
2. b) At the moment of submission of the application, he has been registered in Sagarejo municipality within the last six months

(c) He has completed a full course of general education from Sagarejo Municipality public (private) school

1. d) is an accredited higher education student (bachelor)
2. e) Every lecture course during the semester has at least 91-100 points
3. v) Has active student status

The cash award will be awarded semesterly, at least twice during the academic year, based on the results of the previous semester of the lecture course.

Administering cash prize distribution :

Administration of awarding is carried out by the Department of Education, Culture, Monument Protection, Sports and Youth (later – Service), based on the information provided by the student and in accordance with the terms and requirements set accordingly.

The criteria and conditions required for cash award for students who are present:

1. A cash award can be given to a student who meets the following criteria
2. a) is a citizen of Georgia
3. b) At the moment of submission of the application, it has been registered in Sagarejo municipality within the last six months

(c) Sagarejo Municipality public (private) school has completed a full course of general education

1. d) is an accredited higher education student (bachelor)
2. e) Every lecture course during the semester has at least 91-100 points
3. v) Has active student status
4. In order to receive a cash award, a student must present the following documents within a month after the end of the semester
5. a) Copy of ID card
6. b) Bank details

(c) Notice from public (private) school

(d) Academic attendance index/extract issued by higher educational institutions on semester subjects and assessments

1. E) Information card about registration of residence in Sagarejo municipality
2. The amount of cash award for one successful student per semester amounts to 750 (counted) GEL

Giving away a cash prize:

1. Successful student will receive cash reward to the bank account number provided
2. The cash award will be awarded semesterly, at least twice during the academic year, based on the results of the previous semester of the lecture course
