Samtredia Municipality, Georgia: The infrastructure projects in Samtredia municipality are actively underway as the government of the municipality aims at improving the appearance of the city and investment environment. Currently, the rehabilitation works in the central part of Samtredia municipality are in the active phase.
The mayor of the municipality David Bakhtadze visted the site and inspected the ongoing works on March 13, 2025. He also talked to the locals and noted that the development process of Samtredia Balneological Resort has officially started.
The Mayor of the municipality also shared a video of the development works of the resort on his official Facebook page on March 13, 2025, Thursday.
It should be noted that the mayor, David Bakhtadze is working hard and taking steps to enhance the infrastructure of the city. This is another important step taken by the mayor of the city.
The locals of the municipality appreciated the mayor’s efforts and also expressed their gratitude for the implementation of the project. They thanked the mayor for making certain efforts in developing their region.

Infrastructural projects in Samtredia

- Renewal of squares and recreational areas:
- Complete rehabilitation of the square in front of David Agmashenebeli Cathedral;
- Renewal of the square near Tsereteli #1 and King Tamar #38;
- Setting up mini fields on Eros Manjgaladze and Nikoleishvili streets.
- Setting up the spectators’ tribune at the base of the equestrian sports club’s hippodrome.
- Arrangement of road infrastructure in different settlements of the municipality.
- Construction of a new public health care center.
- Rehabilitation of drinking water systems will begin shortly.
- Water system setup project.
