Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Georgia once again reiterated that search at office of opposition parties is not illegal. He said that this is just preventative step to prevent any law-and-order problem in country amid ongoing protests.
It is worth to mention that the law enforcers are searching for the houses of Georgian leaders who belongs to opposition parties. The opposite parties as well as officials of the various non-governmental organisation and civil society organisation are opposing this act of law enforcement agencies. According to them this is violation of right to privacy of Georgian citizens.
While speaking about the controversy created by opposition parties Prime Ministster underlined, I would like to say there is noting wrong in this act of police. Moreover, this all things are being implemented just to prevent any untoward incident.
In the same press conference, he said that this is very shocking to see that the leaders of opposition parties are misusing these preventive measures for their personal interests. He further said that the decision taken by the Georgian government to suspend its talk with European Union integration was taken by government after due deliberation.
Notably Georgian government decided to suspend the European Union integration process until year 2028. He said this decision will make Georgia progressive in future. According to Prime Minister the Georgia that his government is ready to discuss all aspect of the decision but this violent act of Georgian opposition parties are not unacceptable at any cost.
At the same time Prime Minister said that the whole episode of violence will be investigated by special investigation services of Georgia. He also expressed hopes that this will bring the truth to surface shorty and all the culprits will be brought to justice by law enforcement agencies of country also.
He also blamed the opposition parties that they are using the protesters as shield for their own interest. This is very tragic as the people who are responsible maintaining law and order are themselves violating the terms and conditions of legal provision as well.
