Shalva Gogoladze, the First Deputy Minister to the staff of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, attended the award ceremony for the best sportsmen of 2024 in Seok version.
Hotel “Hotels & Preference in Hualing Tbilisi” held the award ceremony for the winners of different nominations, along with the sports results of the Georgian National Olympic Committee for 2024.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, First Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports Shalva Gogoladze, Olympic champion-prize winners, current and veteran athletes, representatives of the sports community, and other guests attended the event.
Paris Olympic Games prize winners Tato Grigalashvili, Ilia Sulamanidze, Givi Macharashvili, and Lasha Guruli were awarded a special prize for their significant success at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The Paris Olympic Games champions – judoist Lasha Bekauri, freestyle wrestler Geno Petriashvili, and weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze—were named the best sportsmen of Georgia in 2024.
- The best athletes of 2024 became figure skaters in winter sports – Anastasia Metelkina and Luka Berulava.
- Judoist Ether Liparteliani was named the best female athlete of the year 2024.
- Footballer Giorgi Mamardashvili became the best sportsman of 2024 in sports games.
- Discovery of 2024 – “Olympic Hope” – bullet shooter Mariam Frodiashvili.
- Discovery of the year 2024 – “Olympic Hope” – Giorgi Chkhikvadze, a Greco-Roman style wrestler.
- The best coach in women’s sports in 2024 – is Kakhaber Motsradze (Dziudo).
Lasha Gujejiani (judo), Giorgi Iantbelidze (freestyle wrestling), and Giorgi Asanidze (weightlifting) were named the best coaches of 2024. It is worth noting that Lasha Gujejiani was awarded by Shalva Gogoladze.
Hotel, “Hotel & Preference in Hualing Tbilisi” also organized the National Olympic Committee of Georgia’s anniversary accounting election session. The delegates unanimously elected Larry Khabelov, the current President, Olympic Champion, 5-time World and 4-time European Champion, as the President of the Seok. Seok honorary members were also elected at the session.
