Georgia: The director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture (SRCA), Levan Ujmajuridze visited the Scientific-Research of Horticulture, Vineyard and Winemaking Center of Georgia on February 25, 2025, Tuesday.
Along with Levan Ujmajuridze, the heads of the scientific directions of the Center, the academician of the Republic of Uzbekistan also visited the SRCA’s Vineyard and Winemaking Center.
During the visit, the SRCA’s director met with representatives of the Institute of Scientific Research of Horticulture, Vineyard, and Winemaking named after Mirzaev. The parties discussed deepening cooperation in the field of vineyard winery and horticulture.

According to the details provided by SRCA, it should be noted that at the meeting, the representatives of the Agricultural Scientific and Research Center and the Uzbekistan Institute talked about the main activities and plans.
It is worth noting that both sides also discussed issues of cooperation in various fields, the high level of political dialogue between the two countries, and the increase in bilateral trade turnover over the last few years.
Within the framework of the visit of the Uzbek side to Georgia, the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture (SRCA) and the Academician of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting. The parties expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation in the sphere of economy and exchange knowledge on reform implementation.
It should also be noted that a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) was signed between the Mirzaev Institute of Horticulture, Vineyard and Winemaking and it is worth noting that the memorandum shall be prepared for joint research projects, organization of curriculum, and exchange of scientific and technical information.
Notably, during the visit to Georgia, representatives of the Uzbekistan Institute visited the bases of the Agricultural Scientific Research Center.
