Ozurgeti: The local municipality administration has successfully organized a tea festival. The festival was held at Musician Park of the Municipality with the cooperation of Black Sea Arena and the administration of Musicians Park.
It is worth mentioning that more than 60 tea producers displayed their unique tea varieties at the tea festival. These participants came from different municipalities across Georgia. The main objective of this special tea festival is the promotion of tea culture, the promotion of small businesses and the development of domestic.
It is to be added that on this occasion the Mayor of the Municipality, Avtandil Talakvadze attended the event with many other dignitaries. Mayor Avtandil Talakvadze also took to his social media page and shared glimpses of events.
The attendee representatives of the tea-producing company have installed their kiosks. Every kiosk attracts a large number of visitors who show great interest in the different tea flavors.
The Mayor along with others visited many tea stalls erected by different tea-producing companies. He also apprised himself about the uniqueness and other qualities of the teas.
The mayor interacted with the representatives of the Tea production companies and assured them that more such events would be held in the near future, which would provide the tea producers great opportunities to expand their business to other countries of the Caucasus and the world as well.
The general public also visited the event wearing their traditional clothes. In addition to the tea stalls many other stalls were installed by producers of other agriculture-related products.
While speaking on the importance of the event the Mayor said “I thank the Black Sea Arena and the administration of Musicians Park for their support in successfully organizing the event. I also thank our fellow citizens, guests, and tourists for participating in the tea festival.”
Meanwhile social media users reacting to the mayor’s Facebook post stated that this is a wonderful idea for the municipality. It will allow local tea producers to expand their markets outside Georgia.
