Giorgi Tsiklauri, the Mayor of the Tetriskaro Municipality attended a royal mass event. He was accompanied by many municipal representatives in the ceremony held at Manglisi Sioni yesterday.
At the beginning of the event, it was opened by Bishop Ananya Japaridze along with representatives from Manglisi and Tetritskaro. A significant number of people from the locality were present at the event site to enjoy quality time with each other.
The photos of saints were placed on a tripod-like stand. People present on the occasion lit candles to pay their respects to saints. Many children and young people attended the event with their parents and became part of a series of events.
The artists who gave wonderful performances were beautifully dressed in old traditional clothes. They gave many presentations including a musical performance also, which were enjoyed by all who were present on the occasion.
Besides the pictures of saints there were many other stands that displayed the paintings and other artworks of many other artists. Everyone appreciated the artwork. The people dressed in traditional attire carried a big picture of a saint while waving the national flag of Georgia.
At the same time, the dedicated spaces for children were a point of attraction for everyone. Kids enjoyed playing games and were also involved in many other activities. The Bishop led prayer which was joined by everyone. He prayed for the peace and prosperity of attendees and their family members.
The children were provided with beautiful gift and items which made them very happy and they thanked the organizers for these gift items. On one side books containing the history of Georgia and other topics were placed. The senior citizens liked the books and read them with great interest.
At the end of the event there was a photo session with the Bishop and Mayor. People were happy to capture these moments on their mobile phones and cameras as a lifelong memory.
In his address, the Mayor thanked the citizens for their esteemed presence. He also reiterated that the Municipality administration is always committed to making extraordinary efforts for the welfare of its citizens.
