The administration of Tianeti Municipality is executing lighting installation work. The work includes installation of the outdoor lighting system and will be completed shortly.
The Municipality administration while taking to social media handles also shared this information. They have shared glimpses of ongoing projects there as well.
The official Facebook page of the Municipality stated, “The work on installing outdoor lighting in Tinetti Municipality is actively continuing. Tinetti Municipality Mayor Levan Tsiklauri, together with other representatives of the City Hall Infrastructure Service and local self-government, inspected the progress of the works in various administrative units.”
It is noteworthy that this year with the funding of the fund for projects to be Implemented in the different regions of Georgia, outdoor lighting systems were installed on sections of internal roads in the town of Sioni and the villages of Sakrechio, Khoptsi, Tushurebi, Gorani, Simoniantkhevi, Tolenji as well as on the Chabano-Chiaura connecting road.
At this stage works are underway on the Zaridzeebi Jijeti connecting road and Tianeti township, 300 Aragveli 5th lane as well as on the section of the road from Vazha-Pshavela Street to the Tianeti cemetery in Tianeti township. The total contractual amounts for the above projects amount to 475,236 GEL.
The installation of the outdoor lighting system was long pending demand of the local citizens. The old lighting system become very old and was creating so many problems as well.
The visiting delegation have taken many initiatives in these directions in past years also. The mayor and other member who visited at site also interacted with workers who are working round the clock to finish the construction work as well.
The mayor also assured locals that in future more infrastructure projects will be implemented in the area. He also said that full financial assistance will be offered for more development work.
