The Mayor of Tianeti Municipality, Levan Tsiklauri visited newly built sports stadium. He was accompanied by many other officials and representative of the Municipality as well.
The information about the visit of Mayor and other officials as well as representative was shared by Municipality on its official social media handles as well. The official Facebook page of Municipality stated that “Today near the multi-storey residential building on 9 April Street, an open artificial sports field and a parking lot were opened.”
It further stated that, “Soccer doors, basketball lights, covered stands and outdoor lighting system were installed on the multifunctional sports field. Moreover, the parking space for 35 cars has been set up, public toilets for people with disabilities were built. The building will be equipped with more facilities in future also.”
It is worth to note that the completed infrastructural projects were visited by the Mayor of Tinetti Municipality Levan Tsiklauri, Mtskheta-Mtianeti State Trustee David Nozadze, State Trustee’s Deputies Giorgi Chipchiuri and Giorgi Kapanadze, Tianeti Municipal Council Chairman Soso Mamulashvili.
The projects were implemented with the financing of central and local budgets of Georgia, their total cost was 459 000 GEL.The sports stadium and parking space is very vast. This will facilitate the locals as well as all those who are interested in any kind of sports.
The long pending demand of pubic has been finally met by the Municipality. The locals were demanding the creation of this sports stadium along with parking space so that maximum people can avail the benefits as well excel in sports.
The mayor on this occasion extends his best wishes to all local residents. He said the Municipality administration is committed for overall development of area. The other official who was present along with Mayor also express similar views. They also assure locals that every kind of financial assistance will be offered to execute the development works.
