Vaki district board in Tskneti implements two infrastructural projects on Dimitri Amilakhvri street. A combined recreational space is being built on an area of approximately one hectare in N23. On the same street, the renovation of road infrastructure of one km long is also underway.

Currently, the drainage network is being constructed in the area; until then, the company “Georgian Water and Power” has changed underground communications. Arrangement of the sports field in the area has also begun.

The mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, got acquainted with the deputies Irakli Bendeliani and Kakha Abuladze.

The Mayor noted, “Two important projects are being implemented in Tskneti. One is the arrangement of Amilakhvri Street with the renewal of underground communications, and the second is the space on the existing street, where a very beautiful square will be arranged.”

According to the mayor, “The area is approximately one hectare. As part of the works, the existing sports field will be renovated, trees and plants will be planted, parking infrastructure and children’s attractions will be installed.”

“A few years ago, we opened a multifunctional center here, which is quite busy. I am sure that the mentioned space, which will be fully renovated, will be very beautiful and will be one of the best places for relaxation and entertainment. There are so many residential houses around, and it is very important to organize, beautify, and renovate the area. Road infrastructure works will be completed in June, and the rehabilitation of the square will be completed in September, – said Kakha Kaladze.

The project, along with children’s playgrounds, two fitness zones will be set up in the green area, with gymnastics and a table tennis space.

In addition, a recreation pavilion, a pandus for wheelchair users, a drinking water fountain, lighting, irrigation networks, and rocking chairs will be installed. For the purpose of security, video cameras will be placed in the area, paths will be arranged, and greening will be carried out.

The cost of both projects is approximately 2,100,000 GEL, which will be allocated from the local budget.

Along with the mayor of Tbilisi, Levan Kipiani, Parliament delegates Zurab Rurua, and district majority deputy Alexander Asatiani got acquainted with the ongoing project.
