Ukraine: Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine wouldn’t be upholding any negotiations with Russia until Vladimir Putin continues to be the president of the Russian Federation. After Russia formally announced the annexure of four regions of Ukraine on Friday, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said that Ukraine requested an accelerated, fast-track NATO membership, according to the sources.
Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine wouldn’t be holding any negotiations with Russia until Putin is scrapped from Presidency and a new president comes to power.
“We will negotiate with the new president,” said Zelensky, adding that the country has taken a decisive step by signing Ukraine’s application for accelerated accession to NATO and we have already proven our compatibility with (NATO) alliance standards.”
At the same time, Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign minister of Ukraine, expressed that Putin is trying to grab the territories that he doesn’t even have under his physical administration in his recent annexure of four Ukrainian territories. However, nothing changes with Ukraine as the country continues to liberate its citizens and land while maintaining its territorial dignity.
These remarks came in as a result of Putin’s annexure of four Moscow-occupied Ukrainian regions — Donetsk, Kherson, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhia — at a grand ceremony in the Kremlin yesterday.Â

“I want to say this to the Kyiv regime and its masters in the West: Citizens living in Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia region are becoming our citizens forever.,” Putin said.Â
