Tbilisi: The resident coordinator of united nation to republic of Georgia and foreign minister of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili held a bilateral meeting. At this bilateral meeting both sides have discussed measure to make bilateral relations strong and stable.
It is also to be noted that that the Georgian foreign minister after her appointment is meeting many leaders. The leader of countries with whom she is meeting includes European countries and other countries of world as well.
The foreign minister of Georgia while taking to social media handles also shared this information and glimpses of this meeting. She termed this bilateral meeting with UN resident coordinator as a successful development.
It is also worth to note that foreign minister of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili held this meeting on Thursday with Didier Trebucq. Didier Trebucq is the resident coordinator of the United Nations Georgia.
At this important that meeting between both sides have discussed with each other large number of areas of existing fruitful cooperation and future. The statement of ministry also said that both sides agreed to take further steps for strong relations between Georgia and the UN resident coordinator’s office.
The statement of the Georgia foreign ministry also underlined that, at the meeting the activities being conducted by office of the United Nation in Georgia was discuses in this meeting.
Some of the important topics which find mention in the meeting includes inclusive economic growth, assistance to vulnerable populations and cooperation with civil society of republic of Georgia on all of these matters.

They also discussed measures for bringing the normalisation in areas such as Abkhazia and Tskhinvali where from reports of human rights violation often came on regular basis.
