University conference held by Academy of Education and Business

Batumi: The National Academy of the Education and Business of Georgia organized a University conference. It was held for two days on August 3 and 4, 2024.

In this University Conference, teachers, lecturers, and representatives of various agencies participated and shared their experiences.  It is worth mentioning that the conference was held in Batumi Technopark. Among many others, Inga Gogiberidze, the deputy director of the Ajara National Museum of Culture and History, presented to the audience.

The theme of the University conference was “Museum as an educational resource.” Many key speakers expressed their views on the first day of the meeting. On the second day of the conference, the participants visited the Batumi Museum.

The Batumi Museum is named after Ilia Chavchavadze. Here, the manager of the museum named after Khariton Akhvlediani, Professor Otar Gogolishvili, conducted a public lecture for teachers and also shared his personal experience in the field of education.

A significant number of the locality also attended the seminar. Special presentations were held for the attendees as well. This was organized to help participants understand the various aspects of the meeting’s topic.

The key speakers of the meeting explained the new trends that have direct or indirect impacts on the country’s education sector. At the same time, the role of artificial intelligence was also discussed during the interview.

The main focus was also on Ilia Chavchavadze’s contribution. According to the key speakers, museums save memories and guide future generations with their historical resources.  The Adjara Museum also has a huge collection of past historical resources, which are used by students and other people related to the academic field.

The museum often upgrades its available resources, which is also taken to preserve the country’s rich history and cultural information. The Adjara Museum also shared this information on its social media handles. The social media users reacting to the post appreciated the museum’s initiative in this direction as well.
