Tbilisi: The student’s team of the University of Georgia team was once again given the opportunity to participate in the prestigious ICC International Mediation Competition. The event is held every year with students from top universities of world.
The annual event held in Paris and involved about 50 teams from the best universities in the world this year also. it is worth to note that once again within the framework of the competition, University team met with teams from the University of Oakland, the University of Miami and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
As per the officials of the university, “Our students demonstrated excellent skills in conducting complex negotiations and received important feedback from world-renowned legal professionals. In addition to participating in the competition, this experience also included a platform for demonstrating growth, learning and engagement in the field of mediation.”
Through this competition, university of Georgia once again proudly raised the name of Georgia in the field of international mediation and proved that their students are not only equipped with mediation skills but also continue to achieve success in this field.
The event namely “international commercial mediation competition” is organised every year by the ICC ADR secretariat. The competition is held in two parts. The one part is the written whereas another part is the oral.
The competition is held for three days continually. All the candidates who participated in these three days competition have to implement all the techniques under the alternative dispute resolution which is also known as amicable dispute resolution in many countries as well.
The ADR (Alternative dispute resolutions) techniques are known as very becoming very famous all around the world now days. The people who want to get any immediate solutions of their problems goes apply to this channel of alternatives disputes resolution.
