New Delhi, India: The spokesperson of the US Embassy in New Delhi, Christopher Elms, showered praises on the Indian students in the US, stating that the United States welcomes the Indian students and highly recognizes their contributions to the US campuses. The comments came prior to the annual alumni fair that will be held on January 21 at the American Center in Washington.

“We want Indian students to explore the diversity of US higher education opportunities at the alumni fair”, stated the American spokesperson as he acknowledged the contributions of the Indian students.

Adding further, Elms remarked on the relations of the United States with India, stating that these strong relations have been founded on the exchange of knowledge, expertise and the lifelong friendships that have been rooted during the Indian students’ time in the United States.

It is noteworthy that the US embassy and the United States India Educational Foundation( USIEF) will be hosting the 2023 Education USA Alumni Fair on January 21 at the American Center. The event will be attended by Alumni from 28 accredited universities and colleges in the United States.

During the event, the prospective students will get to interact one-to-one with the current students and the alumni of the US higher education institutions. Thereby, the participants can acquire first-hand experience from the ones who have attended universities across the United States.

‘Students will have an opportunity to seek advice on the US university application process, scholarships, and funding from qualified advisers of the Education USA centre at the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) and get acquainted with the student visa process from US Embassy officials,” the US Embassy said.

At the same time, the Executive director of the USIEF, Adam Grotsky, stated that Indian students who have studied at American colleges and universities could provide thorough and accurate insights into their academic, extra-curricular and cross-cultural experiences in the United States.
