The Khan village in Baghdati has got a new kindergarten school. The school Children’s has resumed their education in newly constructed building of kindergarten.
The Imereti administration is working round the clock to provide world class educational services to children’s. This newly opened kindergarten is also a step forward taken by municipality in this direction.
In the mountainous village of Khan, the rehabilitated kindergarten was visited by Levan Zalkaliani, the State Representative of Imereti, and Kakha Enukidze. They were accompanied by the Mayor of Baghdati Municipality and congratulated them on the start of the new school year.
Levan Zalkaliani, the State Representative of Imereti, during this visit added,“In order to improve the educational infrastructure, both preschool and public schools are being rehabilitated in the region.”
In addition, he underlined, “Today, we visited a fully rehabilitated kindergarten in the mountainous village of Khan, which is designed for 25 students. It is equipped with modern equipment and fully meets the standards.”
“In order to strengthen the villages overall infrastructure with special focus on the school education a number of projects are being implemented throughout the region to minimize migration from the villages,” said Levan Zalkaliani.
It is worth to note that this new Khan Kindergarten is designed for up to 30 children and meets all relevant standards. The building is adapted for people with disabilities and is equipped with the necessary equipment for the educational process.
It is also to be noted that the Khan village Kindergarten was fully renovated with the financial support of the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
The members of this visiting delegation went inside classrooms to interacts with school children. They at the same time also talked to school teachers and got information about their problems.
