The work for rehabilitation of the kindergarten 4 on Melikishvili Street Batumi has been completed. The new kindergarten will be equipped with all latest facilities.
It is worth to note that the educational process for 315 children was completed for providing a renewed, safe and comfortable environment. As part of the project, both the internal space and the yard were improved significantly. The cost of the works amounted to 2 million 460 thousand GEL.
The inauguration of new kindergarten event was attended by Batumi Mayor Archil Chikovani. He in his speech also said that “We will actively continue to improve the infrastructure of preschool institutions. Last year, 2 new kindergartens were put into operation on Naneishvili and Vazha-Pshavela streets.”
According to municipal sources the work for construction of a kindergarten for 200 children on the Airport Highway is nearing completion, and the construction of 2 new kindergartens has begun on Ivane Meskhi First Alley and Niko Muskhelishvili Street.
Moreover in parallel 3 kindergartens are being fully rehabilitated and energy-efficiently converted. The Municipal Development Fund is being used for rehabilitating 6 kindergartens, which will serve a total of 1,400 children. It is important that the demand is growing and we will do everything possible to meet the needs of the population in terms of safety and standardization of kindergartens,” said Archil Chikovani
On the occasion of inauguration ceremony the newly rehabilitated school was fully decorated with many ballons and other decorative material. The children were dressed in beautifully dresses to grace the attendee for this movement. The Mayor and other visitors also visited the classroom to take the stock of things. The little school children were very happy on being part of this celebration moments with other children.
The mayor while speaking on this occasion also underlined the role of kindergarten education in higher education. According to him basic school infrastructure of any country must be strong enough.
