Tbilisi: One of the prominent watchdog of Georgia, namely Georgian Young Lawyers association (GYLA)once again blamed Police force and other law enforcement agencies for misusing powers.
It blamed further the ministry of internal affairs have failed to full fill its constitutional duty to protect the rights of citizens to protest.
It is worth to mention that the watchdog, Georgian Young Lawyers Association further said that instead of protecting rights, the official of ministry are themselves violated the rights which is very shocking and illegal as well.
The watchdog GYLA issued statement today in this regard and condemned the action of law enforcement agencies. As per the statement the member of police force are using the excessive force against the protesters.
They further blamed that police have been using teargas to disperse protesters. The Policeman has encircled the protestors as well as disturb work of journalist who were there to cover the essential facts as well.
According to GYLA the action of police shows that instead of protection of rights they have been themselves violating human rights of protests who have every right to protest as per Georgian law.
It is to be noted that at least nine-to-ten-time tear gas was used to disperse protestors. According to some protesters the member of police has also used the dangerous chemicals against the protesters which is clear violation of the Georgian law and human rights as well.
On the other hand press reporters have also blamed that the police and other members law enforcement agencies. According to press reports while using excessive measures the police has used water cannons. Some reports also called for strict action as their  photo  and video cameras were broken by police force members.
GYLA in its statement further noted that the most disturbing thing is that special forces encircled protesters instead to disperse them. This unfortunate incident happens when as per law special force members are bound to provide space to protesters to leave for safer place as well.
In the end of statement the GYLA official demanded strict action against the culprits. They demanded hard punishment for all guilty police force members.
