The official and representative of the Lentekhi Municipality held a working meeting. This meeting was held to review the work done in the previous year and strategies for the new year of 2024.
It is to be specifically mentioned that at the working meeting held at the Lentekhi Municipality City Hall, the representatives of the government summarised the last year activities as well they also talked about plans and priorities for 2024 that the authorities have planned.
Working meeting was held on January 18. The State Commissioner – Papuna Margvelidze, and the Majoritarian MP – Gocha Enukidze, held this expanded work camp in Lentekhi, which was attended by the State Commissioner’s Deputy, the Mayors of the Municipality, the Chairmen of the City Council, the heads of the Service and the heads of AIPs.
It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of the meeting, the authorities introduced the attendees to the important news that has been implemented in the region in different directions, summarised the achievements of the past year and discussed future events.
At Tatbir they also discussed the progress of infrastructure projects in Lentekhi Municipality and assessed the current situation in this regard. And from the service heads, they heard information on the actual issues. Among them, they also held a conversation which touched on healthcare, education, culture, society and other areas.
It is to be added that special attention has been put on the “Village Support Programme 2024” in order to identify priorities; meetings with the population will start on February 7 and discuss the situation in villages in different directions and the needs that require appropriate services to be included.
It is noteworthy that such meetings will continue in municipalities in the region, which is important in terms of the increase of efficiency of the work process.
Attendees of the meeting also said that more initiative would be taken to make the development a main priority . Some attendees also suggested that a proposal be sent to the central government to provide financial assistance.
