Several WhatsApp users reported outage as the messaging app went down

The cybercitizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) joined the worldwide users in order to report that the WhatsApp services were down in what appeared to be a global outage on early Friday morning.

As per the point of view of the Downdetector.ae that more than 900 complaints were recorded that the users are facing issues as of 12:55 am.

However, WhatsApp users in all other parts of the world registered far more issues. The website reported nearly tens of thousands of complaints about the same time period – mostly users are from Europe.

The instant messaging app believed the situation in a brief statement on Twitter not long after. It stated that “Some of you may be experiencing some issues using Whatsapp at the moment. We are working hard so that we can resolve these issues so that thing runs smoothly again, it said. We will keep you updated, and in the meantime, thanks for your patience.”

Nearly half an hour later, Whatsapp company services posted an update, reporting all was well again. And we are back. Happy chatting! ” it said, without offering any explanation about what caused the outage.

This is not the first time the service has faced technical issues on a global scale Netizens in the UAE joined users around the world in reporting.

According to local regulation, an active subscription to the Internet Calling Plan is required for users in the UAE to use BOTIM to make or accept free voice and video calls.

Many users were facing issues in sending or receiving messages.

Down Detector detected blackouts in many several parts of the world, with major outages in Europe, UAE and the Levant.
